Humphree is an entrepreneurial company in the marine industry. We develop industry leading trim and stabilization systems for motor vessels. Our business is growing and so is our demand for the right people. We are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our crew.
Role
As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be a key member in our team and help develop the mechanics needed to create clever stabilizing solutions with robustness worthy the maritime professionals who rely on our systems in their daily work. This involves designing housings for electronics, actuator gearboxes, carbon fins and everything in between, including quality assurance of the finished product. You’ll work in a team of two mechanical design engineers, and in collaboration with our electronics and software engineers you will create mechatronic control systems which revolutionize the comfort and ride quality of fast vessels.

You
We are looking for someone with minimum 4 years of mechanical design experience and strong engineering calculus. You probably have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and solid know-how in applied materiel sciences – plastics, steel and carbon fibre. CAD, PDM and FEM should be well-known tools, and experience with product development from concept to validation and deployment is a great advantage. Solid ability to write and communicate in English and Swedish is a requirement.
