Mechanical Designer

The task is to develop, validate and maintain solutions related to Distribution Equipment. The position will work in close cooperation with other project members e.g.Test Engineers, Automation Engineers, Suppliers as well as being part of a team of Mechanical Designers. We can offer you a creative and stimulating work environment, where your main responsibilities will be: .Plan and drive mechanical design activities for new and existing mechanical solutions..Perform pre-studies .Prepare assembly- and detail- drawings .Check the technical documentation related to the performed activities .Share technical specifications in order to purchase mechanical components .Ensure the follow up of the internal and external validation tests .The successful candidate must be able to lead other designers The person we are looking for has Higher Secondary School (technical) or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferable.Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.You have at least 5 years practical experience as a mechanical designer.Experience from Pro/Engineer, 3D design tool and SAP R/3 are merited.We believe that you are structured and driving person who takes initiatives and have the ability to deliver results to meet deadlines.You are also able to work independently and/or as a part of a team.
