Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.The position is within Development & Engineering Carton Economy Platform, Equipment lines, and the team in the Main Body Module. In the coming years there will be a focus within Carton Economy to build up complete packaging lines for our TFA (Tetra Pak Fino Aseptic), TCA (Tetra Pak Classic Aseptic) and TWA (Tetra Pak Wedge Aseptic) packages.You will work with development within the main body module in the Tetra Pak A1 platform, all the way from concept studies, to monitor and verify the result at tests, and later support our low cost manufacturing supply chain. The work is driven from projects.You will work in close cooperation with other project members, such as test engineers, automation engineers and package development engineers.The work will include: .Design and documentation of mechanical equipment .Owner / Driver for the mechanical design within projects .Use of World Class Engineering tools in order to develop robust machines .Simulation and evaluation of concepts/prototypes .Co-ordination of mechanical design made by consultants or sub suppliers .Investigate new technical solutions and compare them with traditional used technology To be successful in this position we believe that you have a university degree within Mechanics or other relevant discipline.You have good experience in mechanical design, minimum 3 years, preferably from the food industry.Experience from ProE, SAP R/3 and simulation tools is a merit. As a person you are multi-tasking and can easily take initiatives and prioritize.You work independently at the same time as you are an open-minded good team player.You are fluent in both written and verbal English.
