Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world. The position is within D&E Carton Economy Platform, Equipment lines, and the team in the Distribution Equipment module, has the responsibility to develop and maintain distribution equipment.In the coming years there will be a focus within Carton Economy to build up complete packaging lines for our TFA, TCA and TWA packages.You will be an important part of this work.Your will work with product development of new distribution machines, all the way from concept studies, to monitor and verify the result at tests, and later support our low cost manufacturing supply chain. You will also work with Product life cycle activities for our Economy distribution equipment in the area of Mechanical design A large part of the development will be done together with external partners, where you will coordinate and support this work.You will work in close cooperation with Automation and Test Engineers. The work will include: .Owner / Driver for the mechanical design within projects .Design and documentation of mechanical equipment .Use World Class Engineering tools in order to develop robust machines..Simulation and evaluation of concepts/prototypes..Co-ordination of mechanical design made by consultants or sub suppliers .Field follow-up, worldwide A university degree within Mechanics is preferable.Experience of design on Tetra Pak Equipment and experience from CAD (ProE), SAP R/3 and simulation tools is a merit.As a person you are driving, can take initiatives, work independently and are a good team player.You are fluent both in written and verbal English.
