Do you want the possibility to work with converting equipment in all phases from development, industrialization, verification, installation and commissioning at Packaging Material factories world wide?
The Engineering group within Packaging Material are global owner of the converting specifications related to tools, methods and standards for converting equipment design.We also drive and support in all converting technology areas (printing, lamination, slitting) with execution of mechanical & automation engineering, technical documentation and equipment safety.We are now looking for a Mechanical Designer.
The two main focus areas for this position are:
Mechanical Design of converting equipment, such as printing-, lamination- and web handling equipment
Develop, improve and maintain mechanical standards, tools and working methods within converting equipment
You tasks could be to:
- Carry out and take responsibility for the mechanical design activities within the technology development, product maintenance and commercialization projects
- Co-ordination of mechanical design made by consultants or sub-suppliers
- Perform root cause analyses, investigate different design alternatives and carry out design solutions
- Driving networks implementing our standards, methods and tools throughout the Packaging Material organization
- Secure that suppliers work in accordance with our standards and guidelines
- Take an active role in implementing the WCE methodology within mechanical design of converting equipment (WCE, World Class Engineering, aims to significantly reduce development time and improve robustness and product quality)
Kvalifikationer
The successful candidate works in a structured and analytic way.You are a team player but are also able to work independently.
You have a B.Sc.or M.Sc.within mechanical engineering and with 3-5 years experience from development and industrialisation of Industrial Equipment.You will need good knowledge in Pro/ Engineer.
A very good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
