The Mechanical Engineering group within Development & Engineering/Packaging Material is responsible for the mechanical design towards the projects within Packaging Material organization, covering all converting technology areas such as printing, lamination, finishing and material treatment.This includes ownership of the mechanical function, solution and requirements.It also means driving and scouting the technology needed in the future for mechanical design.
We are now looking for a Mechanical Designer to strengthen our team in Lund, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
-Mechanical design of converting equipment
-Develop and follow-up technical solutions to meet given specifications
-Design and document according to legal requirements and corporate standards
-Provide input and revise test specifications and technical manuals
-Work with external partners and suppliers to find equipment concepts
Kvalifikationer
To be successful in this position you have strong analytical skills and a personal drive with the ability to meet set targets.It is key that you have a creative mind with a strong interest of continuously improvements, technical challenges and innovative solutions.You are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.Communication skills and the ability to adjust to changes as well as to different persons are important as you will be working cross functional with different projects and nationalities.
You have an educational background from Mechanical Engineering, either a Bachelor of Science or a Master of Science degree.You have experience of working in the area of mechanical design and preferably knowledge about function, modular and standardization methodologies.Manufacturing techniques and tool design is also seen as a merit.You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
