Mechanical Designer

Are you ready to join the next generation in Mechanical Design using advanced design methodologies and tools?We are now searching for a Mechanical Designer who will strengthen our mechanical design team in the Base Module within Tetra Pak Carton Economy.

In this position you will strengthen the mechanical competence in the line organisation to achieve robust and cost effective design solutions.You will work with development for Tetra Pak A1 filling equipment platform, all the way from requirements to approved solutions as well as supporting our low cost manufacturing supply chain.The work area involves to a high degree technologies for package forming and sealing.

The work will include:
-Designing, drawing, calculation and documentation of mechanical equipment
-Usage of World Class Engineering tools for Robust design such as FMEA, DoE.
-Drive improved design and work methodologies.

You will plan, execute and follow-up on deliverables according to agreed processes within technology and product development and product maintenance.

To be successful in this position you should have a Master degree in Mechanics.You have experience in mechanical design from the food /car industry or similar, and with a minimum of 2 years experience using Pro E as your main CAD tool.Experience in robust design / simulation tools and/or Six Sigma will be seen as a strong advantage.
