Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our Forming team within the Development & Technology organization. We are responsible for the functions in the filling machines that forms the package material into a package. Our engagement spans from early innovation studies through development and industrialization of products to product life cycle activities.
In this role you will be working as a Sub-System Owner managing the technical specifications of our equipment. This includes having a close collaboration with development teams, suppliers and customers to drive the quality and performance within your technical area.
It is a permanent position based in Lund, but you will work in a global arena.
What you will do
Manage the technical specification throughout the product life cycle.
Translate and break down customer needs into technical requirements.
Provide expert guidance and support to the development teams.
Evaluate technical maturity.
Propose and drive technology know-how.
Assess and suggest actions to close gaps in quality, performance, hygiene, safety and cost for your sub system.
Drive commonality and standardisation
We believe you have
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience from working with mechanical design in development activities.
Good communication skills in English.
Strong technical interest and a collaborative and engaging way of working.
Analytical mindset and well organized.
Understanding of virtual development and manufacturing techniques.
Experience in filling machines and PTC Creo will be considered an advantage.
