Your role
In the role of mechanical engineer, you will work in various projects with our customers to analyze, design, dimension, test, verify and optimize mechanical systems. To your help, you have various CAD systems, test environments, access to expertise and the application of your technical and innovation skills in mechanics.
You will primarily work in project form towards set goals. This means that you are responsible for the mechanical design based on the product's requirements specification. You will be verifying and driving the development process within the time and cost framework set by the project manager. In addition to this, the role of a mechanical engineer also includes a large portion of collaboration and compromising with various divisions such as electronics, software, project management, purchasing, production, requirements, testing and verification, suppliers, etc.
You will also be an important part of fulfilling our high ambitions regarding quality for our customers through continuous improvement work and further development of the tools and working methods that the electronics groups jointly use within the company.


Your profile
We are looking for you with a strong interest in mechanics, innovation, problem solving and who is happy to build and construct solutions even in their spare time. We see that you are driven by learning new things and want to understand customers, the business, and the technology to create better solutions. You have good knowledge in both basic mechanical design and verification. You have worked for a few years in a similar position and thus also have a good understanding of how a development project is run and what challenges you face during the journey.

To be successful in this role, we are happy to see that you have
At least 3 years’ experience as a mechanical designer
Experience from different materials: Plastic, Sheet Metal and Aluminum
Several years of experience in product development
At least university engineering education in a relevant area
Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
