In our offices in Gothenburg and Linköping we develop & produce sensors and complete systems based on the latest radar technologies. Our products are used in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage and petrochemical industries which involve user interaction in demanding environments. Explosive atmospheres, safety-critical systems, applications with all kinds of chemical substances, high-pressure and high temperature applications are examples of situations our products are designed to tolerate.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you are part of our product development department and the group that is responsible for the development of microwave mechanics for our radar-based sensors and data collection/communication units.
You will work with some or all aspects of mechanical development and will be able to follow the product from concept and idea through development, customer launch and aftermarket, handling requirements, concept, detail design, implementation and testing. Collaborating with others within development, product management and operations as well as suppliers are daily elements for you. You have the opportunity to learn more about our electronic housings, waveguides/antennas and pressure/corrosion-resistant connections made by machining of metals and polymers, forming of sheet metals, die cast and injection molding.

Requirements
We are looking for you who holds a MSc degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial Design Engineering (Teknisk Design), Physics or equivalent technical experience, and some years of experience within Mechanical design work. You can speak and write in English.
You are comfortable with the designs you produce, and you have had dialogues with suppliers and production regarding your and others’ designs. You are interested in understanding the essence in the technology and meaning behind design solutions and choice of materials. As a person you are communicative and like to make contacts both internally and externally. Also, you are willing to take and grow into new areas of responsibility.
You have performed and reported design tasks, as well as handled engineering drawings and well-kept product data structures. Experience from 3D CAD, drawings & tolerancing and PDM systems is required.
