Vi söker en mekanikkonstruktör (Mechanical Engineer) till vårt utvecklingsteam hos oss på Emerson, Rosemount Tank Radar i Göteborg!

In our offices in Gothenburg and Linköping we develop & produce sensors and complete systems based on the latest radar technologies. Our products are used in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage and petrochemical industries which involve user interaction in demanding environments; explosive atmospheres, safety-critical systems, applications with all kinds of chemical substances, high-pressure and high temperature applications, etc.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of our product development department and the group that is responsible for the development of microwave mechanics for our radar-based sensors and data collection/communication units.
You will work with all aspects of mechanical development, from requirements, concept, detail design to implementation and testing. Collaborating with others within development, product management, operations as well as suppliers are daily elements for you. Our product offers include electronic housings, waveguides/antennas and pressure/corrosion-resistant connections made by machining of metals and polymers, forming of sheet metals, die cast and injection molding.

Requirements
We are looking for you who holds a MSc degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial Design Engineering (Teknisk Design), Physics or equivalent technical experience, and at least 3+ years within Mechanical design work. You are proficient in English, speaking and writing. Swedish is a merit.
You are an innovative designer and have a great curiosity and keen interest in technology development, precision mechanics and material properties. As a person you are enthusiastic and social and like to make contacts both internally and externally. Also, you are willing to take and grow into new areas of responsibility.
You possess the capacity to own, perform and report design tasks. Also handles engineering drawings and well-kept product data structures.
Experience of 3D CAD (PTC Creo or similar), drawings & tolerancing, PDM systems (Teamcenter or similar) is required. Finite Elements and strength calculations is meritorious.
The position is located in Mölnlycke but remote work part of the work week is possible.
