Be a part of our mechanical development
As our Mechanical Engineer, you are an experienced professional in the field, eager to contribute to the department with new approaches, viewpoints and maybe even new inventions. With your expertise you will support Project leaders in matters of design, production development, machine equipment and manufacturing. You will participate in projects, compose specifications for mechanical requirements and be an important part of the development of new machines and tool designs for the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Designing production equipment and keeping existing machinery up to par by continuous improvements is another significant aspect of your work.
You take steps to ensure that your engineering work is executed according to current internal and external directives and standards. You create manufacturing drawings and documents and participates in performing quality audits at external manufacturers.
In the role as Mechanical Engineer you are an active contributor to cross functional cooperation as well as continuous updates and improvements of internal processes and work methods.
Creative and innovative engineer
To positively succeed in the role as Mechanical Engineer at NKT, you need to be structured and methodical in your work, whilst still having room for creativity and innovative thinking in your solution finding. You know how to take command of your own work and drive projects and tasks forward to the set goals.
To quality assure your technical documentation, and act as a constructive reviewer of the documentation of others, you need to be thorough and methodical in your work as well communicative and have a strong cooperative approach.
Your communicative side lets you speak for yourself, as well as the department, in various contacts with both internal and external customers and management alike.
To be successful in the role, you should have the following experience:
* M.Sc. or Bachelor with specialization in technology / mechanical engineering
* Previous experience from similar engineering roles
* Used to working in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP is advantageous
* Solidworks / PLM (Windchill) is a requirement
* AutoCAD is meritorious
* Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English is a hard requirement
