Mechanical Engineer

The Hardware Team is expanding and we are now looking to recruit a new mechanical design engineer with several years of experience. Axis develops network products, so the job will include the design of mechanical components such as casings, optics and motors. As a member of our team you will work in projects together with other parts of the organization. You will: * be responsible for mechanical design, documentation and verification of the mechanical parts in the project * have contacts with subcontractors and manufacturers * work in close contact with Operations, assist in production start-up, product maintenance and manufacturing optimization For this position we believe that you should have/be: * a degree in mechanical engineering (120 points or more) * experience in design and tooling in different materials such as plastics, sheet metal and aluminum * several years of experience in design of moving precision parts * experience in 3D CAD systems, preferably ProEngineer * good communications skills and an ability to work independently * fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish
