Mechanical Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

The Mechanical Engineer will work in several teams consisting of Project Manager, HW Responsible, SW Responsible and a Test Engineer for respective product. The teams are responsible for e.g. Displays, Amplifiers, Speakers, Headunits, Switch panels etc.



Key accountabilities:

Main responsible for interfacing between company HQ and customer with regards to Mechanical related issues.

Resident support for customer on site. Managing company products in the customer systems such as Team Centre, CATIA etc.

Handling of all Q&A regarding mechanical items and together with HW responsible negotiate with customer

Requirement analysis of customer requirements

Perform release/delivery of 3D data, drawings and other mechanical data into customer systems. Responsible for modifications if needed to align with customer requirements.

Participation in Customer Mechanical evaluation events, such as virtual builds etc.

Perform 3D modelling for prototype builds during Advanced Engineering and PoC creation, e.g. Sound System demo cars etc.

Perform relevant investigations (packaging studies) in actual cars and virtual cars both for running projects and advanced engineering.

Lead sub suppliers in manufacturing of prototype parts for advanced engineering when applicable.

Skills:

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

3D Modelling

CATIA V5

Supplier specific (VCC) IT systems such as TeamCenter and EXTER.

OEM vehicle manufacturer or supplier experience preferably within Infotainment area

Fast learner

Good communication skills

Handle stress well

Must be fully conversant in English

PC literate including Microsoft Word, Excel etc.

Driving License (Type B)
