Job Summary
We are now looking for a Mechanical Designer to join the Lamination & Web Handling team.
This role will belong to D&T IBE (Development & Technology Industrial Base Engineering) which is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires occasional travelling.
What you will do
In this role, the main responsibilities will be to design parts for future installations in our factories, but also to support general layouts. You will work with the development teams to secure a working solution and be responsible for the order of material going out to factory installation. To succeed you will need to carry out problem solving as well as gather input from key stakeholders to create the appropriate design.
You will focus on

Line layout design in our Converting factories
Development and design of Converting equipment
Continuous improvement through value driven innovation
Drive and follow-up supplier development
Securing design and functionality through Requirements management, Virtual Engineering and Technical Reviews
Collaboration with converting factories and development teams

We believe you have

It is natural for you to apply standards and our way of working. You have the ability to drill down to details when needed to secure quality of your work and successful installations in our factories.
To be successful in this position we believe that you have a Bachelor of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering and experience from working with mechanical design. You are familiar with Creo as a tool. As you will work in an international environment, it is important that you have a good command of English, both written and oral.
