The Hardware Team is expanding and we are now looking to recruit a new mechanical design engineer.Axis develops network products, so the job will include the design of mechanical components such as casings, optics and motors. As a member of our team you will work in projects together with other parts of the organization.You will; * be responsible for mechanical design, documentation and verification of the mechanical parts in the project * work closely with electronic and PCB designers * have contact with subcontractors and manufacturers * work in close contact with Operations, assist in production start-up, product maintenance and manufacturing optimization For this position we believe that you should have/be: * a degree in mechanical engineering (120 points or more) * a few years experience in design of plastic components, sheet metal and metal castings * experience in 3-D CAD systems, preferably ProEngineer * good communications skills and an ability to work independently * fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish Experience in optics and/or moving parts is considered as an advantage.
