Would you like to be a part of our team to engineer technical solutions for existing and future train connection systems?

Dellner Couplers in Vika, south of Falun, is an expansive and international company that delivers sustainable, innovative and high-quality products and services to train operators and train builders worldwide. Our products consist of couplers, gangways and crash management systems for the railway industry.

We are looking for Mechanical engineers to strengthen the Engineering teams in our global organization. In this position your focus is engineering of couplers in both existing solutions and development of new products. We can offer technical challenges as well as career development in our global engineering organization.

You will be placed in Vika, Falun and report to engineering Team Manager.

Your role


• Mechanical engineering in customer and development projects.
• Carry out project design on the basis of the customers requirement specification and company policy.
• You cooperate with all sections within the Engineering department and also with e.g. Sales Engineers, Procurement and Customer Service.
• Ensure that the product is tailored to fit its functional and production needs.
• Investigate and implement product modifications and improvements.
• Participate to the continuous improvement of applied technical solutions and methods.

We assume


• You have a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably you have some engineering experience.
• You are experienced in CAD, preferably Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent technical understanding and analytical skills.
• Capacity to overview customer specifications and design accordingly.
