Axis is now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Research & Development organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Mechanical Engineer at Axis you will work closely together with other skilled engineers in project teams. The team will design complete products with a wide range of different characteristics and requirements. You will participate in all stages of the project. Specification-Concept-Design-Test-Industrialization.

Mechanical development at Axis is done in close collaboration with teams within electronics and software as well as teams outside of R&D, enabling you to grow and learn continuously. As a Mechanical Engineer you will also be the mechanical expert of your specific products, supporting other departments in Axis throughout the product lifecycle. Axis and the network video business is growing rapidly which makes your every day at work here increasingly interesting - and more challenging.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an open minded and driven individual willing to share ideas, knowledge and experience on a daily basis to further develop our creative and open environment. Hence, good communication skills and an easygoing attitude are vital.

We believe you have a master in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience within mechanical design and product development. Experiences in die-casting, injection molding, production, mechanical/environmental testing, heat transfer and EMC is highly valued and will come in use in your daily work. Mechanical 3D CAD - preferably Creo- and fluency in English, both written and spoken, are essential skills.
