Mechanical Engineer - Bodyworn Cameras

Join our team and together we will find smart solutions for great products! We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the System Products team at our HQ in Lund, Sweden.

Who is your future team?
We are sixteen talented and innovative mechanical- and electronic engineers. In our team we work close together, share our knowledge and support each other. We are working cross functional in project to develop, improve and deliver world class products!

What you'll do here as Mechanical Engineer:
As a mechanical engineer at the System Products department you will work with product development in areas as bodyworn cameras, recorder or system devices. In our project team we work close together with electronic engineers, firmware developer and many other internal functions such as quality, production and sourcing. You design the product (3D-CAD), make drawings and do several test builds during the development. You will also have close contact with suppliers and producers of parts and products around the world through phone/email and travel (we do not travel during the pandemic). You are a part of the project all the way from concept phase until the product is delivered to the market.

Who are you?
We look for a team player with a positive mindset. You are stimulated by challenges and love to solve problem together with others. You have a background as mechanical engineer, a huge technical interest and are excited about product development.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* A background as mechanical engineer
* Knowledge in at least one 3D-CAD system

Bonus points for:

* Product development in tele communication (4G, 5G), WiFi or GPS
* Large scale production
* Injection molding
* Knowledge in CREO/Windchill
