Tetra Pak Processing Components AB We develop, manufacture and market stainless processing components, primarily for the dairy, cheese, ice cream and beverage industries.We supply these components through Tetra Pak's worldwide network of market companies, and we are 230 employees at our plant in Lund, Sweden. The Homogenization & High Pressure Pumping Department at Tetra Pak Processing Components is now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to work in our Product Creation and Product Life Cycle processes.The brand name for our portfolio of homogenizers and high pressure pumps for liquid food is Tetra Alex®.Homogenization is a process that effectively reduces the size of solid particles and liquid globules, improving the quality and stability of the treated product.Tetra Alex® homogenizers & high pressure pumps are specially designed for food applications. As a Mechanical Engineer you will work independently with development activities and technical investigations.You will also participate in our development projects as well as product maintenance activities for our existing machines.You will work in a dynamic organization where we have a close contact between development, production, marketing and support.The main tasks in this position will be: Initiate and start up development activities.Industrial and mechanical design activities.Technical Investigations and support.The successful candidate has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with 5-10 years of experience from mechanical design and development.Knowledge and experience in metallic and polymer materials is a must and you are also skilled in ProEngineer and FEM calculations .You are fluent in English, both verbal and written. As a person you are self propellant and can drive your own work forward.You have a strong and wide technical interest and your technical curiosity makes you solve problems in a persevering way.It is natural for you to set up your own time plans and drive your work to closure in an organized/systematic way.You are a team player and you are also able to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a supportive way.
