Introduction
Chronic R&D Monitors are now looking for new employees to strengthen the team working on Gambro’s future monitor. The department R&D Monitors is responsible for developing new dialysis monitors to make Gambro’s current portfolio stronger. R&D Monitors is currently expanding and we are now looking for a mechanical design engineer. We offer a stimulating and changing work environment with challenging tasks within the medical device industry. Your main tasks will be to develop and maintain mechanical applications. Support in system analysis, design and verification.

Job description
Responsible for
• System analysis and system design
• Mechanical design and analysis
• System integration and verification
• Specify system/subsystem verification tests
• Documentation of mechanical design

Qualifications
Appropriate educational background is Master of Science in Engineering or other relevant university degrees in mechanical engineering or engineering physics. Since our corporate language is English you need to have excellent knowledge in the English language, both orally and in writing.

We do see that you have competence in some of the following areas:
• Technical and system knowledge
• Structural mechanics, for metals and polymers
• Fluid dynamics
• Systems engineering
• Machine design
• Experience in CAD and PDM, such as ProEngineer and PDMLink.
• Experience in mathematical tools, such as Matlab and Mathcad.
• Experience in simulation tools, such as Abaqus and Ansys Fluent.

As a person you have the ability to take responsibility and make your own decisions, see simple but practical solutions to complex problems and execute and perform your work in a systematic manner and with high quality. You take initiatives and work both individually and as a part of a larger project. You work in a structured, analytical and creative way.
