Tetra Pak Processing Components AB We develop, manufacture and market stainless processing components, primarily for the dairy, cheese, ice cream and beverage industries.We supply these components through Tetra Pak's worldwide network of market companies, and we are 230 employees at our plant in Lund, Sweden. The Heat Transfer Division at Tetra Pak Processing Components is now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer.Heat Transfer work with three products: plate heat exchangers, tubular heat exchangers and scraped-surface heat exchangers.The products are world leading brands for heat exchangers in the food processing industry, Tetra Plex®, Tetra Spiraflo® and Contherm®.Our Technical Support group works with the tubular heat exchanger Tetra Spiraflo®.The responsibilities of Technical Support is to work with development and product nursing, mechanical design, QA, material knowledge, production technique, backup for order design and to support in quality and purchasing issues.The main tasks in this position will include: .Development and design of new and existing products including calculations, material selection and considering legal demands .Cause analysis of claims .Keeping up to date with material development to use new knowledge in the development process .Manage and drive product nursing projects The successful candidate possesses a University degree in Mechanical Engineering.Material knowledge of stainless steel and polymers are important and we require experience from AutoCAD and Pro Engineering.Knowledge of SAP R/3 is a merit. You are a hands-on person that is detail oriented and structured.You possess drive, and like to work independently - and at the same time contribute to your team.You like to work with improvements and your analytical skills help you get a perspective of the consequences changes in design will have on the product.You are fluent in English and you are able to handle stressful situations.
