Tetra Pak Processing Components AB We develop, manufacture and market stainless processing components, primarily for the dairy, cheese, ice cream and beverage industries.We supply these components through Tetra Pak's worldwide network of market companies, and we are 230 employees at our plant in Lund, Sweden. The Homogenization & High Pressure Pumping Department at Tetra Pak Processing Components is now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to work in our Product Creation and Product Life Cycle processes.The brand name for our portfolio of homogenizers and high pressure pumps for liquid food is Tetra Alex®.Homogenization is a process that effectively reduces the size of solid particles and liquid globules, improving the quality and stability of the treated product.Tetra Alex® homogenizers & high pressure pumps are specially designed for food applications. As a Mechanical Engineer you will work with development activities to produce mechanical design solutions for both existing and new machine concepts.You will work in a dynamic organization with close contact between development, production, marketing and support.The position will require some traveling (10-20 days/year), related to field tests and technical support.The main tasks in this position will be: Mechanical design in ProEngineer Planning, execution and evaluation of tests in laboratory environment and at field tests.The successful candidate has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.Knowledge and experience in metallic and polymer materials would be seen as a strong merit.You are fluent in English, both verbal and written, and you are skilled in ProEngineer. As a person you are self propellant and can drive your own work forward.You have a strong and wide technical interest and your technical curiosity makes you solve problems in a persevering way.It is natural for you to work in an organized/systematic way and you are a team player.
