You’ll work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today. You will become a member of the Engine group in the Koenigsegg Engineering team.

THE ROLE
As a mechanical engineer you will be responsible for design and development of robust, proven, and reliable products utilizing the latest automotive technologies. The role requires knowledge of technologies used in automotive. Mechanical engineer will collaborate closely with production, aftermarket, prototype, quality, ME, electrical, as well as CAE, and homologation department. You will:
Generate 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Catia V5/V6.
Support the release of product into production (PLM).
Work closely with Prototype, Production, Aftermarket department
Organize and carry out tests to verify component function and requirement
Technical support leading to successful introduction into production
Prepare service kits and Service actions
Interaction with suppliers and technology providers
 
REQUIREMENTS
R&D Experience in development and prototyping– (minimum 4 years) ideally with cutting edge technologies
Design experience with CATIA V5/V6 (minimum 3 years)
Experience in development solution for production (minimum 2 years)
Expertise in technologies used in automotive
Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with assembling, multi-model links, design in context
Experience with PLM system
Understanding of prototyping, production technologies, and validation procedures
Experience with design of sheet metal and machining parts
Experience with plastic injection technology and tool design
Professional level of English
