Mechanical Engineer - Product Maintenance

JOB DESCRIPTION You will support our Operation department and our Product Maintenance Team (PMT) in mechanical matters.The job will include investigations of reported issues.Redesign of separate mechanical components such as casings, optics and moving parts in a variety of materials.You will also work with approvals of new/modified/renovated tools/parts, design and improvements of test/production equipment.All work will be done in close collaboration with your co-workers in the Electronics & Mechanics team. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We believe you have a M.Sc.in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience with mechanical design.Specific experience from tooling, molding processes, production, plastic design, mechanical/environmental testing and EMC is highly valued and will come in use in your daily work.Experience in 3-D CAD is mandatory, preferably ProEngineer. Furthermore we believe you are an open minded and driven individual willing to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.You also have good communication skills and are easy to collaborate with.
