MECHANICAL ENGINEER
The Electronics & Mechanics Team is expanding and we are now looking to recruit new mechanical design engineers.Axis develops network video products for the professional surveillance market.The job will include the design of mechanical components such as casings, optics and moving parts, in a variety of materials.
As a member of our team you will work in projects together with other parts of the organization.Your ability to collaborate within the own team as well as cross functionally in the organization will therefore be highly valued.
Job description:
Be responsible for mechanical design, documentation and verification of the mechanical parts in the project.
Work closely with electronic and PCB designers.
Have contacts with subcontractors and manufacturers.
Work in close contact with Operations, assist in production start-up, product maintenance and manufacturing optimization.
For this position we believe that you should have/be:
A degree in mechanical engineering (120 points or more).
Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Optics, Precession tooling and moving parts or Test and verification of mechanics
General knowledge in design of plastic components, sheet metal and metal castings.
Experience in 3-D CAD systems, preferably ProEngineer.
Good communication skills and an ability to work independently.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish.
