MECHANICAL ENGINEER
The Electronics & Mechanics Team at Axis is expanding and is now looking for a driven, practical person with a passion for mechanical design.

The job will include design of mechanical components such as casings, optics and moving parts, in a variety of materials.Additional to this you will be responsible for the documentation and verification of mechanical parts in projects.You will work in close contact with PCB designers and other departments in Axis such as Operations, assisting in product start-ups, product maintenance and manufacturing optimization.We therefore value your ability to collaborate cross functionally as well as within your team and department.

Do you want to grow with us?

Job Qualifications:
A degree in mechanical engineering (120 points or more).
Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas; optics, precision tooling and moving parts or test and verification of mechanics
General knowledge in design of plastic components, sheet metal and metal castings.
Experience in 3-D CAD systems, preferably ProEngineer.
Good communication skills and an ability to work independently.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish.
