Mechanical Engineer till Dellner

Dellner is the world leading supplier of complete train connection systems for train builders and train operators worldwide. We provide couplers, dampers, gangways and shock absorbers as well as global aftermarket services. The head office is located in Falun, Sweden and Dellner has sales and service organizations in 12 countries. The turnover is 90 MEUR with around 400 empolyees located across the globe.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our Global Design department team. The position is placed in Vika and you report to the Engineering manager.

Your responsibility:

- Work as a Mechanical Engineer in customer and development projects. Focused on couplers, but you will work with all products within train connection systems.

- To carry out project design on the basis of the clients requirement specification and company policy.

- Ensure that the product is tailored to fit its functional and production needs.

- As most of our customers are international, you must be prepared to travel when requested.

- Participate in the process of continuous improvements.

The successful candidate will have following profile:

Job experiences:
- Minimum of 3 years university degree within the area of the responsibility.
- Minimum 3 years? experience of designing mechanical systems.
- Experience of CAD, preferably Inventor and vault.

Personal skills:
- Good technical understanding and analytical skills.
- Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues, other departments and subsidiaries.
- Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude.
- Capacity to overview customer specifications and design accordingly.
