You will
You will be an integral part of our engineering team, with responsibility for the mechanics. This means supporting the current production, as well as different projects and new product development with your expertise within mechanics. Your tasks will be of variety and with a wide range, and you will be involved in the entire development process; technical pre-studies, requirements management, concept development and design to production. Further you will:
- Set the framework for the mechanics
- Ensure compliance with requirements specification in all parts that are designed and developed
- Work with quality management for our products
- Design and development of various components and subsystems for laser sensors, instruments, and associated equipment
You are
We expect you to have a MS or BS degree in mechanical engineering or similar, and several years of experience within the field. You like working with varied tasks and with a complex product, from concept development and mechanical design to production. Experience of working in project form is also important.
You are a good communicator and good at interacting with colleagues within the company as well as with external contractors. Since we are a smaller high-tech company, flexibility and a problem-solving mindset will be important. This means that you have that entrepreneur mindset with the drive of fixing the issues that might arise hands on and communicate that into the organization. Ability to make decisions under pressure and in fast pace environment is also important. You are also fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
