Job Description
Your contribution to something big
In this role you will contribute to the development of heat pumps from an NVH perspective, with specific focus on the refrigeration circuit area. The role also consists partly of support to the mechanical design area, where you will support with design work.
Specification and execution of FE-based structural/acoustic and/or vibroacoustic simulations based on project or product needs.
Preparation and execution of NVH related tests – such as Experimental Modal Analysis, source & substructure characterization for virtual prototyping – in our laboratory.
Participate in tools & method development related to NVH
Propose and drive mechanical design solutions in accordance with function, cost, quality, lifetime and user requirements.
Produce solid models of parts (3D) and ensure product assemblies.
Generate engineering drawings (2D) for product components, create mark-ups for new revisions.
Specify materials and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing taking into account manufacturing processes.
Participate in product design reviews and FMEA.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you
Education:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (MSc preferred).
Technical skills:
Knowledge of structural dynamics, acoustics, FEM & applicable simulation tools (Ansys, Simcenter or equivalent)
Experience in testing methods / techniques related to NVH (EMA, FRF acquisition, etc) is preferred
Experience in the design of metallic parts in industrial environment, preferably using CAD 3D Unigraphics (NX).
Proficient with Microsoft office tools.
Experience with Teamcenter is a plus.
Personal Skills:
Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions.
Results oriented and pro-active attitude.
Good communication skills.
Problem solving mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
