We are looking for a person with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering to take the ownership of the mechanical design and structure of our separators. In this role you will join a team of product experts that are working together to provide the best separator solutions to our customers around the globe. We are working with development projects as well as supporting commercial deliveries and the job offers a mix of operational hands on and development work.

This is a permanent position located in Lund, Sweden.

What you will do
Your main task in this position is to secure the mechanical design structure for our systems supporting the separator. Covering product development, care, and commercial opportunities. You will take an active role in the design work, as well as supporting others to implement our solutions. You will have close contact between development, application support, production, supply chain, marketing and technical support. You will work independently as well as a part of different project teams.

As our new colleague, you will work with and be responsible for:
· Take ownership of the technical product architecture and system integration
· Develop, improve and validate processes, templates and tools for Separators related to Windchill, PDMlink, Creo and other systems
· Responsible to follow Tetra Pak design guidelines and corporate standard
· Design the complete Separator machine system
· Product improvements/ cost reductions activities
· Build a network with other mechanical engineers to align on common standard design solutions and component choices
· Support to order handling, production and manufacturing

To be successful in this role we believe you are
A person that is clear in your communication and knows how to build effective relationships and collaborate with others, but you are not afraid to take initiatives and deliver on your own. In addition, you have the interest and ability to handle the big picture in deliverables at the same time as being interested in technical details.


More formally you probably have:

· A few years’ experience of working with mechanical design for manufacturing preferably within the food industry.
· Engineering degree Bachelor or Master or equivalent combined with minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience.
· Experience from mechanical equipment and/or processing technologies is a requirement
· Experience in using CAD tools, Windchill-PDMlink from a Cad data management perspective
· A background within food industry, processing technologies, or similar will be seen as a merit
· A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
