Mechanical Engineering - Components and Products - Engineer (Level 2)

We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineering - Components and Products - Engineer (Level 2) in Ludvika.
Description:
Mechanical Engineering encompasses a variety of engineering assignments such as planning, designing, and modifying machinery, equipment, and products. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction or full fill legal or other agency requirements.
- Order design and product care activities, like design and revision of parts using Creo.
- Sales support, for instance 3D models to customers and general technical support.
- Support to supply chain and quality regarding deviations on delivered parts from suppliers
- Participation in product testing, for instance preparing test objects and monitoring of tests.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.
Mechanical engineer needed for work with product care activities. These activities range from short term support to production, SCM and sales as well as more long term work in projects. It is therefore important that the worker is driven and can search for information by himself/herself (with support from colleagues).
Good communication skills is important since all activities involve other departments.
