Mechanical Engineers to Västerås

Job description
We are now looking for our next talent within mechanical engineering and mechanical design to join one of our clients in Västerås. Production Mechanical Engineering function is part of Operations development. The function is responsible for designing manufacturing tools and fixtures optimized for the production process. The function is also responsible for technical documentation such as work instructions to be used by operators in the assembly process.

Responsibilities

As Mechanical Engineer you will work in close cooperation with Production Engineering, supporting the daily operation at the manufacturing line as well as ongoing development projects. You will mainly be responsible for:


Developing design solutions based on current needs, all the way from concept generation to final drawing.
Support Production Engineering in procurement and verification of the developed solution.
Be responsible for updating work instructions etc. based on changes in the assembly process.




Working hours
Full time with good chances for employment with the client after assignment period. Working hours: Monday - Friday 08.00-17.00

Qualifications
To be successful in your work you need to have the following qualifications:
Good knowledge in Solid Works, Solid Works Composer and SAP
Knowledge about CE (process, requirements etc) and managing calculation modules in Solid Works
Experience in production engineering is preferable
Able to communicate in both Swedish and English
