Mechanical Piping Design Engineer

Engineering & Supply is responsible for the design, manufacturing and delivery of separator equipment and systems for various global industries within food, beverage, brewery, and Life Science.

We develop and maintain a portfolio of configurable systems, covering the market needs in the best possible way.

To be able to meet growing demands, we need to extend our standardization team with a mechanical piping design engineer.

About the job                                                                                                                       

The team has a life cycle covering responsibility related to the machines and systems in our portfolio.

Main tasks:
* Play an active role in the development of new products and in building up sustainable systems or complete skids for our high-speed separator with drawings and structures for the portfolio
* Together with the team/team leader carry out professional mechanical engineering activities on standardization projects
* Prepare a complete product structure as P&ID, Component list, Connection List, 3D designs of piping systems, skids, tanks, and manufacturing drawings including welding drawings.
* Review, update and maintain drawings.

* Make technical calculations and verifications.
* Select and design components and solutions based on project scope and applicable standards and codes
* Deliver input to improve current technical solutions and / or develop new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage
* Participate in meetings with colleagues
* Share competence and lessons learned with your colleagues

About you
* You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* You have some years of experience from piping design and have a good understanding of different systems, materials, piping standards and welding etc.
* You have experience from P&ID design in Cadison, 3D Plant Autodesk or equivalent. Experience from working in CADISON is a plus.
* You have a great interest in technology, product development and system/PI&D design
* You have experience from mechanical design in Inventor, Solid works or other 3D program
* You have knowledge in PDM systems
* Team spirit is a must
* You have high ambitions and delivers very high quality
* Your English is good, Good Swedish is meritorious
* Your work approach is constructive, structured, and systematic
* You have great networking capabilities and like to share your competence with your colleagues
