We are now looking for a Mechanical Test & Commissioning Engineer for a project in Lund, Sweden. You'll have the chance to join a leading international research facility that is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects currently underway. The facility features the most powerful linear proton accelerator ever constructed, with the ambitious vision of operating the world's most advanced neutron source. This initiative aims to facilitate groundbreaking scientific discoveries in areas such as materials science, energy, health, and environmental research, while addressing some of the most pressing societal challenges of our time.
The position is scheduled to start ASAP. The estimated duration of the project is 12 months with the possibility of extension. Please note that this job requires 100% on-site presence in the office in Lund, Sweden.
As a Mechanical Test & Commissioning Engineer you will be part of the test and commissioning team, developing and executing testing and commissioning plans to ensure successful project delivery. This position may require overtime during critical project phases.
Main tasks will include:
• Test & Commissioning Development: Create and implement detailed test and commissioning plans and reports.
• Hands-On Execution: Conduct field testing to verify system performance and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team and adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
We expect:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or extensive equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in process systems and commissioning.
• Proficiency in developing comprehensive test plans, executing hands-on testing, and a proactive, flexible approach to project challenges.
