About the position: 
Humphree has delivered first class products and services at a high pace for a long time – with no intention to stop. Today, the company conducts several industry-changing projects and as their business is growing; so does their teams. This implies an extended need for a mechanical test engineer to join them in the process to build up a new department for the field. 

As a Mechanical Test Engineer you will be a part of the mechanics team which consists of seven people. Here, you will play a key role in ensuring the high quality of both new and existing products. Your responsibilities will include: 

Mechanical testing of a wide range of products


Write test plans and development of new test methods for prototype verification


Design and operate custom testing fixtures and devices


Analyze and report test results and data needed to evaluate the product.


Collaborate with other engineers on design modifications

The ideal candidate:
You have a strong engineering background with a bachelor or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.


You have at least a couple of years of work experience from a similar role


You are fluent in written and spoken English as the language is used daily. 


Furthermore, personality will play a crucial role for this selection. To take on and feel comfortable in the role as a Mechanical Test Engineer, we believe you are driven to get things done in close collaboration with your team. You are a quick learner with a curious approach towards your work. As a lot of the tasks are performed with high quality requirements, which means you need to be meticulous with an open-minded attitude towards your job as well as amongst your colleges that you work closely with daily.

About the assignment:
This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the customer and our side is that after 12 months you will be directly employed by the customer.
