Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanics Project Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Play a key role in new product development by coordinating sourcing and industrialization activities with external suppliers.
Implement strategic sourcing strategies to ensure long-term quality and delivery.
Optimize production costs and manufacturability.
Collaborate with the global, category-managed sourcing team, reporting to the Team Manager Project Buyers.
Focus on suppliers within casting, sintered, and sheet metal segments.
Place orders for tool investments and sample orders, ensuring first sample approval and adherence to supplier quality requirements.
Handle RFQs, select suppliers, place orders, and oversee delivery for prototypes and project needs.
Ensure that parts/products align with project timelines, budget, and sourcing strategies.

What you bring:
Experienced in technical purchasing or manufacturing of machined and casted parts for a couple of years.
Proficient in reading technical drawings/specifications and engaging in discussions.
Basic knowledge of production methods, processes, and product industrialization.
Fluent in both English and Swedish.
Collaborative and networking mindset with a proactive approach and ownership of tasks.
