This is what you will do
The main task of our Product Quality and Testing department is to assure quality already in pre serial process and before the products become FlexLink standard items. This means close work with designers at Technology and Innovation department, Procurement department, product owners, project leaders and other stakeholders to secure robust, reliable and premium products for our customers.
You are a highly motivated Mechatronic Engineer with a combination of knowledge, experience and skills in mechanical, electrical, computer, software and quality tools, want to contribute and join our department and FlexLink’s journey towards smart conveyor solutions.
Main activities and responsibilities:
As our Mechatronic Quality Assurance Engineer, you assure quality within development projects, select, evaluate, and approve new suppliers, new prototypes, pre-series and final samples. Also, you approve the release of the start of serial production regarding quality assurance, as well as assuring the quality meets standards and requirements before transfer of finished development project to serial production and to the Operations Quality Team. Moreover, you will:
Support in testing, define the test of the product and create new test methods.
Validation of products, software and controls.
Develop Quality assurance standards, processes and routines regarding electrical, mechanical, controls and software products.
Work cross-functionally and support teams and departments in sharing quality assurance and mechatronics knowledge with the aim to achieve premium quality products.
Support in other tasks connected to Quality Assurance.

This is you
To be successful in your role, you have a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering with at least 3 years of experience and knowledge of quality assurance tools, supplier audit experience, APQP and PPAP process. Your English is fluent and know or want to learn Swedish. You enjoy working together with colleagues towards common goals with a customer-oriented focus, always aiming to secure FlexLink operations do not have disturbances due to quality.
