Mechatronics Engineer

We are now looking to expand our team with a skilled and experienced mechatronics engineer with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and also further advance the mechatronic system technologies in our cars.
The responsibilities associated with this position puts a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains.
The development activities are primarily focused on mounting and packaging of the electronic systems (ECU management and electromechanical integrations).

Responsibilities

- Determine locations, mounting arrangements and packaging of ECUs
- Mechanical support for LV and HV systems integration
- Work in close collaboration with vehicle technicians and prototype teams
- Analyze testing data from vehicles to identify possible risk situations due to temperature, vibration, fluid leakage and hardware functionality
- Write detailed test procedures and publish test reports

Need to have

- Fluency in the English language
- Proficient in CAD (Catia v6 is a plus)
- Proficiency with process integration and electromechanical systems
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts (i.e. strength and mechanics of materials, vibrations, controls, fluid mechanics and heat transfer)
- Familiar with automotive systems
- Able to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematic
- Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities

Meritorious

- Experience in with automotive electrical systems a plus.
- Experience with seals in watertight systems a plus
- Experience with heatsink design a plus
