Job description
As Mechatronics engineer, you are a part of the Service Support Team at Munters and will be responsible for technical maintenance of Munters service product range. Together with Product Management, Operations (production, sourcing, quality), you support the Service organization with design and verification of new retrofit solutions and replacements. You will have close cooperation with the R&D department to enhance Munters sales and solving issues for installed equipment.
As Mechatronic engineer you will take the technical responsibility for a range of aftermarket products by delivering technical solutions with good and long-lasting mechanical and electrical designs:
• Ensure that the new retrofits meet technical and documentation demands
• Ensure that the new retrofits fulfil current laws and regulations
• Participate in Service product development and upgrade projects and drive implementation with key stakeholders in Operations and R&D
• Prepare technical documents (CAD, drawings, electrical drawings, tech data sheet, mechanical calculation…) needed during the different phases of the design process
• Drive and participate in cost and lead time reduction activities
• Improve the features and performance of the existing aftermarket products
• Strengthen and improve Munters knowledge on serviceability and technology
• Drive and participate in continuous improvements within the Service Support Team
• Drive and coordinate communication between stakeholders
You will be located at Munters site in Kista, Stockholm. The Service Support Team is a team of five Mechatronic Engineers located in different countries within EMEA. You will be reporting to the Service Support Manager located in Belgium. In Kista you will work close together with R&D, Operations, and field technicians. Day travels to the production site in Tobo will occur.
Your profile
To succeed in this role and enjoy the work you need to have a genuine customer service mindset, be interested in technology and manufacturing and willing to learn about Munters products and technologies.
We are looking for a professional which can identify root case and address it, but you also know when to ask for assistance if issues are not resolved. We expect you to be creative, proactive, self-propelled and you need to be communicative and a good team player.
Other requirements are:
• Mechatronics engineer Bachelor or Master
• High level of proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint/Excel/VBA)
• Knowledge of any modern CAD, ECAD and PDM systems: Solidworks, EPlan electric and ePDM is an advantage
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in the current situation
• Very good English skills, written & spoken, any other language skills are a plus
• Good Swedish skills, written & spoken
