Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Affairs Executive to our client who is an American multinational pharmaceutical and medical technology company! In this role, you will provide expert medical support to the Northern Europe Area, to include: contributing to new product development (NPD) and launches, approval of promotional activities in accordance with relevant legislation and to assist in the provision of accurate clinical and technical information service for our client's products. Some of your main responsibilities include: take the lead at cross-functional meetings, partner and collaborate with internal departments, assist in writing and amending SmPCs (Summary of Product Characteristics), PILs (Patient Information Leaflets) and label information, liaise with 3rd party outsourcing agents to ensure that enquiries are handled efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner, provide a Medical Affairs service to in-house personnel, identify department training needs and conduct relevant training where required, support and mentor junior team members by providing expertise and sharing knowledge across therapeutic areas/relevant legislation, assist the department manager with the day-to-day running of the department and act as deputy for the department manager when required and jointly (with the department manager) manage the recruitment process for new team members.
Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmacy/Life Science
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical/OTC Industry within a medical role
- Working knowledge of relevant advertising codes of practice (LER)
- Experience within consumer healthcare/OTC an advantage
- Technological competencies
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian)
Personal qualities
To be succesful in this role, you need the ability to build and establish strong and productive relationships and the ability to manage projects independently. You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and you are a strong and effective communicator (both internally and externally). You are also easily adaptable and receptive to change and you know how to organize and proritize tasks effectively. Furthermore, you have great negotiation skills and you have the ability to make quick, accurate decisions.
Salary
Salary, by agreement.
Admission and Application
40h/week. The position is expected to start 2022-09-01 and is expected to run for 1 year, with a chance for extension. You will be employed as a consultant with us at JobBusters and work for our client in Stockholm.
