AMRA is a ground-breaking international digital health company at the forefront of medical imaging and precision medicine. AMRA was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Linköping University, Sweden, with the aim to support transformative care and vital decision-making from clinical research to health and wellness. The company has developed a new global standard in body composition assessment, the ability to automatically produce multiple fat and muscle biomarkers with unrivaled precision and accuracy, as well as contextual disease insights - all from a single whole-body MRI.

Job Assignments
We are now looking for a new Medical Science Liaison for the global Neuromuscular Disorder and Metabolic Disease Research markets.
A Medical/ Business Development/ Research individual to conduct searches into key therapeutic area resources, developing a strategy to reach these resources, reporting to the Director of Medical Science Liasion, and implementing the strategy.
This role will increase AMRA´s internal understanding and knowledge of a therapeutic area with the purpose to meet the therapeutic areas and the customers needs. Also, Identify key players, initiate contact, and lead AMRA´s collaborations with these players on different levels in a specific therapeutic area.
Responsibilities:
- Research and create deep understanding documentation on specific markets AMRA Medical is pursuing
- Establish and maintain relationships with leading physicians, researchers, and clinicians, and Key Opinion Leaders at academic institutions, hospitals, pharma companies, Patient Advocacy Groups, research organizations, and others
- Liaise with Business Development and Marketing to improve upon and ensure consistent and accurate messaging
- Keep abreast of the latest research and new developments, consult with different function areas within the company
- Present and educate on new findings in clinical research, potential product development, clinical trials, and drug approval
- Host the AMRA advisory boards
- Monitoring AMRA product developments, scientific literature, patient advocacy and registry groups, for new developments
The role is based at our headquarters in Linköping and could require some travel. If not based in Linköping Sweden, an ability to work from home is required.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person who wants to join a young, exciting, and growing company. The role will challenge you to develop your skills further and to grow with us at AMRA Medical. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years’ experience in relevant industries and at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
Other requirements are:
- Proven demonstrated track record of performance as Medical Science Liaison or corresponding role
- Experience in driving collaborations with external parties e.g. Patient Advocacy Groups, Research organizations etc.
- Solid medical/research background in previous roles
- Experience from Pharma industry and an understanding of its processes
- Understanding of the clinical trial management process
- Well-established network within the pharmaceutical markets preferred
- Medical imaging knowledge, especially MRI, will be of great assistance
- Possess entrepreneurship to operate in a start- up environment
- Self-motivated, self-starter, driven individual with the operational agility and the hunger necessary to initiate and drive collaborations with external parties
- Microsoft Office tools expertise; Word, Power Point and Excel
You must be fluent in English with the ability to write and converse clearly and effectively. International travel experience is ideal.
