Atos Medical is now looking to expand its clinical team with a Medical Writer. The position will be reporting to Head of Clinical Affairs, and is located at our Head Office in Hyllie, Malmö.

Main responsibilities are to compile, write and edit medical writing deliverables covering several different purposes and target groups.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are a strong communicator and have solid writing skills.  We also believe that the successful candidate has strong organizational skills, is curious and motivated, and has the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, also in high pressure situations.

 

Primary responsibilities:


• Compile, write, and edit medical writing deliverables covering all aspects of MDR compliant clinical evaluation plans and reports
• Compile, write, and edit medical writing deliverables covering all phases of clinical research for submission to medical ethics committees and regulatory agencies. 
• Writing of publications for medical journals, or clinical study reports for internal use
• Writing of medical marketing and education materials for internal and external use
• Writing of scientific and medical/clinical copy for a broader audience, including healthcare professionals, patients, and company representatives.

• Examples are abstracts, exhibits, posters, training materials, video scripts, and magazine articles.


• Meet Standards and Requirements

• A key task is to be sure that all deliverables are in accordance with relevant medical device industry regulations , standards, and guidelines. The regulatory documents that are prepared must for example meet MDR and GCP guidelines, and company standards and templates.



 

Qualifications and competences:


• Familiarity with the principles of clinical research
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex scientific and clinical information and translate into clear, concise and compliant writing
• Extensive knowledge of English grammar, native English is preferred, demonstrated excellent English can be accepted
• Master degree in health/medical Science (MSc)
• PhD in health/medical science appreciated
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Reference management program (EndNote)
