About the role
We have an open position as mechanical engineer in our Product team, reporting to the CTO.
We offer an exciting position in a growing entrepreneurial company where you will join a highly talented team of great colleagues. This is a crucial part of our engineering team where you will work with our drawings and calculations in close collaboration with our designers and mechatronic engineers to ensure our product's deliver optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability. This is a role where you will be spending time in our production and at the office.
We work in a tight team with close cross project collaborations in a ‘do now’ spirit and through passion, cooperation and an agile way of working we take new electrical bikes to market in industry leading short development cycles. You will have a chance to make a difference and you can expect to see the products and results of your work in the streets of Stockholm and across the world.
Your tasks will be varied, and you will be involved in the entire development process. Your work will include and is not limited to:
Construct components such as stem, triple clamps, fork guards etc.
Create and update CAD drawings, perhaps the most important task as of now (but things change)
FEM analyses and simulations
Stakeholder management: design, mechatronics, production, marketing…
Stay in close conversations with our suppliers and create relevant documentation for them
Troubleshooting
Build prototypes, both complete bikes and update concepts on existing models
Support production and quality teams as needed
Follow and contribute to industry standards and best practices
Overall, you will be working with varied tasks and with a complex product, from concept development and mechanical design to production. You will report into our CTO and the role is based in our HQ in Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm.
Who are you?
Qualifications
Masters degree in engineering or similar
CAD, we work in Siemens NX
A and B driving license is a plus but not a requirement
Work experience is a merit
