Job Description


As a Concept Designer for Mens Sport you have the responsibility for creating and optimizing the best possible offer for our customer. You are responsible for leading and developing a strong dedicated standalone design vision and assortment. H&M Sport will run essentially as a start-up within the H&M Group and as such, the role will require a broader, entrepreneurial, and very agile growth mindset.
We are looking for a hands-on self-motivated person with a tenacity to take this exciting next step as Concept Designer. You have a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for fashion and sportswear. You are well organized, love to collaborate across different teams with strong and clear communications skills. The role will also eventually also include staff responsibility, recruitment, administrative tasks and more. You enjoy taking ownership and being flexible in your way of working. You are motivated by building the Men’s sports collection, adapting and finding new ways of working in a creative, highly entrepreneurial, and diverse environment.




Qualifications


In addition to matching the personal profile we also seek the following:
Extensive experience from an aspirational fashion &/or sportswear design background
Wide and deep experience as an established Senior Designer looking to take the next step or currently Design Manager level
Documented design leadership experience from fashion retail
Passion for sports and/or menswear fashion demonstrating strong creative direction
A strong visionary with an understanding of commercial product & customer focus
High competence in assortment building, color, material, cut and silhouette
Agile entrepreneurial mindset and adaptable to fast changes in a start-up like environment
A flexible, positive, and inspirational team player
A global mindset and able to navigate in a truly diverse organisation
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
Excellent communication & presentations skills in English (Swedish not necessary)
