MEP Project Engineer

Positions main purpose:
In the role of MEP project engineer, you act as a support to MEP manager who is part of the technical department. You participate in the various project tasks and assignments of the project and support through technical management. Follow-up of design development and site coordination as well as economics and scheduling with application of relevant tools used in the project. As a MEP project engineer, you should have the technical skills needed for given tasks and you therefore propose decisions on actions, action options and use of resources.
Throughout the project duration, you will work closely with the MEP manager and together with other employees in the projects for safe design and production with high productivity, quality and profitability. As MEP project engineer, you will have many contacts with your own project team and internal departments and as well as project design consultants. In addition, you will also communicate with external suppliers, subcontractors and government agencies in case of need.
Work tasks:
•Follow up and scheduling of design and site related issues in cooperation with Planning department
•Evaluation of quality assurance related to MEP design
•Planning of meetings (internal or with Client) and preparation of Minutes of Meetings and submission to Client
•Preparation of presentations related to specific design/site related tasks
•Issuance and follow-up of additional design tasks/works ordered to designers/subcontractors
•Administration tasks related to MEP design subcontractor
•Responsibility for Final/As-built documentation (coordination with site and design + technical team) for official submissions to Client
•Follow-up and participate in review of MEP design documentation throughout the project
•Collaboration with technical department
•Cooperation with other departments for design & technical matters (e.g. Contracts dpt., Procurement dpt.,etc. in AGN organization)

Requirements (previous work experience, education etc.):
·Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering programs or similar
·About 5 years of experience in the role of MEP Project Engineer or equivalent position
·Experienced in infrastructure projects or similar
·Experience in Trafikverket projects is a plus
