Assignment Description:
We are recruiting a Metadata Systems Expert to have control over data that flows through legacy systems as well as through new systems. You’ll work to implement a business-wide data catalog using tool ‘Enterprise Data Catalog’ which will then interact with metadata management tool to together enable the business to gain an overview and understanding of its data assets.
What you'll do:
● Build connections between Enterprise Data Catalog and source systems to enable scans of data sources.
● Administer the Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon Data Governance tools along with advising and participating in the creation of valuable metadata in the tools to guide in the early implementation.
● Implement the metadata system and the business-wide data catalogue.
● Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the company.
Who you are:
● Previous experience in implementing Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon Data Governance tools at other businesses.
● Competence level 4 (9-12 years of experience) along with ability to communicate pedagogically and clearly in Swedish or English in both speech and writing.
● Possess knowledge of the DAMA framework or other frameworks in the field.
● Past experience of connecting Enterprise Data Catalog to a data source with an Oracle database.
● Holding certification in ‘Enterprise Data Catalog 10.2 Developer’ and ‘Axon Data Governance 6 Professional’ is meritorious.
