Role description
As a method engineer, mainly working on electrical systems, you will be working in close relation to Product Development and other functions within Global Parts & Services. Your main responsibility will be to create, edit and publish technical information as well as spend time in our workshop, working on the products, verifying repair, and fault tracing methods.

The Repair & Diagnostics Development consists of 6 colleagues responsible for production and publishing of repair and diagnostic information for our diesel engines, drives, and electro mobility components. The Repair & Diagnostics Development Team is a part of the Parts & Service Engineering, within Global Parts & Services at Volvo Penta.
The information created within our team is mainly written in Swedish and then translated into a number of languages to then be used by our Dealers, OEM and End Customers all over the world.
Qualifications
We are looking for you that are dynamic, outgoing and have a very good technical understanding. Your co-operative skills and networking competence is of great value since you will have contact with many persons within our organization. In addition, you have experience, knowledge and interests in fault-trace mechanical and electrical components. With your experience of technical documentation and computer skills, you can create a workshop information for our drivelines and components.
Technical Education, Senior High School level, at least
Experience from workshop
Experience in hybrid- / electro drivelines is a merit
Very good knowledge in electrical and electrical systems
Excellent communication in both Swedish and English
Good computer skills (Office, 3D-viewers, Photoshop, Illustrator)
