Job description:
We are now looking for a Quality Manager to our Complex System Quality and Process Equipment project team in Sala. Your main responsibility is to lead and manage projects with coordination with PL for system projects and also all process equipment projects. As a Quality Manager, you will set up and maintain the project quality plan and define and verify the fulfillment of project stop and go points. You will provide independent views from outside the project organization, perform internal audits and give assistance in third party audits when needed. In your role you will report all project quality assurance aspects to the Product Line Quality Managers. You manage the suppliers , quality teams and different Metso locations who is doing process equipment projects and be ultimately responsible for all System Project Quality, including Metso PL equipment. You have a small team of QA/QC located in different countries.

Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you should have
- At least 5 years practical experience working in big projects or equivalent in Mining and Construction heavy industries or similar heavy industries.
- Good project management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of engineering related quality assurance and quality control methods and strong commitment in working according to them. Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
-High level of computer skills is essential – Excel, Word, PP, SAP and Lotus Notes applications.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Preferably experience from reading Engineering drawing
