Our Retail Distribution Center in Eskilstuna is on an exciting expansion journey! The DC today consists of more than 350 ambitious, committed and motivated H&M colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for the logistics operations and distribution of fashion items for our retail customers across Sweden. This autumn the scope will also include Norway and Iceland and the team in Eskilstuna will expand to being more than 400 colleagues.

We are currently looking for MHE Maintenance Technician to join our DC MHE team in Eskilstuna. Do you have a genuine interest and knowledge in technical linkages, mechanics and logistics? Are you willing to develop yourself within automation? If so, then you might be the person we are looking for!
As an MHE Maintenance Technician you ensure stable day-to-day MHE operations in the DC and support improvement opportunities in alignment with Global MHE operation principles and standards.
You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. You act in line with our Values and Leadership Expectations.
Your main responsibilities:
Monitor automation and attend any visible disruption to the automation in a timely manner
Support solving operational issues –implement first fixes (incl. communication with local MHE team) and escalate, where needed, to stakeholders in the event of automation incident
Effectively execute MHE improvement work, repairs and modifications to maximize operational excellence, quality and efficiency
Compile accident reports and shift logs that can affect results, equipment and maintenance

• Understanding of technical linkages and functional split between MHE, WCS and WMS
• Knowledge in mechanics, electronics and automation
• Ability to understand and apply new system features/updates

• Inclusive and empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity
• Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture
• Experience from working in logistics is a plus, but not a must
• Communication skills in both Swedish and English

This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. The location is based in Eskilstuna and is part of the Logistic Region North Europe. As an MHE Maintenance Technician, you report directly to the MHE Manager. Start date during December 2021 or by agreement.
